Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Fort Huachuca

Fort Huachuca is located in the town of Sierra Vista. At over 71,000 acres, this Fort has everything. We visited a few of the museums, the cemetery, and tried to find the stables but not luck. The mounted Calvary performs on the parade field in full period dress ones a month but we didn't get to see it.

This information is posted at the museum, facing the field.

The Parade field
One of the Museums on this Fort.
The Buffalo Soldiers trained here.
There was a lot of interesting things in the museum, but too many to take pictures of. Here are some actual pictures taken of Geronimo.

This statue commemorates the Indian scout.
Then we visited the Intelligence museum.
Spy planes
Old spy planes
Flew a lot of missions and it had the scares to prove it.
Then we found the cemetery at the far end of the Fort.
One section of headstones didn't list dates, only names and description such as "Infant" or "Child"
This Plaque was mounted at the base of the statue below.
