Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Big Bend National Park

As we were getting ready to break camp in Langtry, these guys stopped to say goodbye.

On our way to Big Bend, we had to stop for lunch in the town of Marathon. The Gage Hotel is in the center of town and it's the only game in town if you're looking for a nice place to stay. They also have a small campground. The place is beautifully restored right down to the window screens which are copper or brass.

These are the rooms in the motel section of the Gage Hotel.
We did get to see the interior of one of the rooms but I didn't get a picture. The decor is done in a western style with cattle hides on the floor. It really gives you the feeling of being in a western town.
Oh look, some lovers sitting outside of the Gage Hotel.
Getting ready to head out of Marathon and onto Big Bend National Park.
We ended up pushing through Big Bend so we could get somewhere to get connection for the Super Bowl. We had seen Big Bend last year so no big deal but it was still a beautiful ride.
