We got up early this morning and headed to the Museum again so we could take our time. Let me tell you....this place was unbelievable. Three floors of fantastic displays.
And it all started here, the first Studebaker? Nope, just the first Studebaker cradle.

I probably took over eighty pictures this day of displays. The tough part was which ones to put in the post. If you are ever in the area of South Bend, this museum is a must. There were three floors full of displays, many of them priceless I'm sure.

The Studebaker's were a lot more beautiful back in the 30's. They also seemed a bit on the expensive side but I'm not sure.

This thing is HUGE, look how the body overhangs the wheels. The doors were about ten inches thick.

The last Studebaker was built in the Canadian plant.

Ah, the end of a perfect day. I just had to get some of the local chocolate and it was onlt a couple of miles away from where we were.

One of Donna's early cars when she was a teenager was a Studebaker unfortanately her Dad forgot to put antifreeze in it and the block cracked, and that was the end of it, I had a picture of it a few months agao on my blog. I was in South Bend once but I was bringing a reluctant witness back to St Louis for a murder trial and didn't have time to sightsee, have to put it in the list. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
