Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Catching Up Again

I have been out of touch for about five days so I will try to catch up. While in Medora we were told that we had to try the pitchfork steak fondue and the show.
In the picture below you can see the pitchforks full of steaks leaning on a rail. The steaks are cooked in hot oil.
The cooking pots don't take long to cook the steaks. The dinner comes with brown beans, cole slaw, and a baked potato. There is also a beverage and a small dessert.
The line is long for dinner but the scenery is good.
Here are some of the people sitting for their dinner. It's all outside but under a roof.
You can see the pitchfork holes in the steak.
After dinner we walked to the outdoor theater for the cowboy show.
The meal and entertainment was well worth it.
The show was a good time.
The next day day we did some walking around town. This is the statue of the founder of the town.
The plaque at the base shows a picture of the founders wife for whom the town is named.
The river that runs behind us in Theodore Roosevelt NP.
Joyce had to get some samples for the granddaughter.
Took a ride through the park and look at what we found.
There are also wild horses in the park and there's a good chance that you will see many small groups.
These horses have never been touched by man so you are best to keep a safe distance
Aren't they beautiful?
And then there's more buffalo.
They were wandering around.

The lonely bulls are cast out when the younger males take over.
Mom and the little one hitch hiker
Mom and the kid in the Prairie Dog field.
Here's another family.
The day was coming to an end and I was hoping for a beautiful sunset but it was only so so.
