Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

We Have Landed For A While

Got up this morning and packed it in at our "Truck Stop" camp. Drove 1/ mile down the road and fueled up because it was only $2.73. I never thought I'd ever say "only" to fuel prices over $2.50 a gal.

Anyways, we only had a thirty five minute ride to "Pilot Knoll Park" in Argyle, Tx. which is about thirty mils north of Dallas. We had to drive down a narrow road through this very nice neighborhood to get there.
It was worth the ride. We had just pulled in and you can see some of the home on the other side of the lake.
Even have some flowers around here.
The best part about this park is that it is a Corp of Engineers campground which means that we can use our Fed. Senior Card for half price. So we get water, electric, and a beautiful view for $9.00 a day.
So we are planning on a four day stay here.
Ah, a day to relax and do a little fishing. No license required in Texas parks.
