Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Phoenix & Old Friends

As we drove out of Quartzsite I accumulated a lot of dust on the back of the coach. Most of it blew off as we drove down the highway then at our lunch stop I rinsed the back off.

There were a couple of accidents along the highway. Seems like everyone was running off the road. This was an 18 wheeler and the driver was ok. The other accident we passed was a bad one and they had the airlift copter there. Hopefully everyone made it out with only minor injuries.
After about three hours of driving we arrive at our destination. This is a Passport America campground just outside of Phoenix. This Resort has over 1800 plots and has everything one would want.
As I finished setting up, Joyce went to the main building to check out the craft show. All the crafts on display were done on site. They have classes for just about everything from woodworking to basket weaving.
This picture is a little out of focus but the piece was beautiful.
They also do RC planes.
This piece was hand carved from a solid block of wood. The detail, right down to granny's petticoat. What talent!!!
Here are some samples of their baskets, this gives me a new meaning to basket weaving.
Beautiful crafts could be found all around, and Joyce took too many pictures to post.
A small sample of what was on the table.
I hope to view the woodworking shop today.
Our friends finally made it. Mary Ann and Paul Audette use to be our neighbors years ago before they moved. Joyce and Mary Ann would get together a lot when their children and ours were young. It was really great to spend some time with them and catch up on old times. They are traveling with their two cats and one small Pomeranian dog.
Life is good especially on a warm sunny day!!!
