Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

The Big Easy

Took our yearly tour of New Orleans, this is our third trip here, there's always a lot to see. Here we are at the corner of Canal and Bourbon streets.
Joyce wants to take a cruise so we will be doing the riverboat thing before we leave here. It should be fun because I understand that you can visit the engine room of the last steam powered paddlewheeler on the Mississippi River. The Natchez is docked a couple of blocks from Bourbon street.

A stroll down Bourbon street can be an interesting walk.
They still have real gas lights.

When we got back to the campground, we had a visitor. He was digging holes everywhere looking for something to eat.

A New Orleans Police officer was killed in the line of duty last week. We came upon a celebration to his memory. There were police everywhere and the streets were blocked off while the celebration was performed.
