Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

North Alabama State Fair

Today was the last day of the State Fair so we took the forty five minute drive to check it out.
Hey...what would a State Fair be without the prized produce.
And the fried Snickers & Oreos
There was a vendor that was selling what was advertised as the best Funnel Cakes in the World. Sooooo I felt that I had to challenge that claim. With the powdered sugar and chocolate sauce, I must admit that it was really good but I'm not sure if they are the best in the world.
Then there was the motocross races.......and their off!
This little guy is last but holding his own.
And the rest of the field moves in.
After a minor mishap with a hay bale, the little guy comes in last. I think the training wheels just slowed him down.
I located the chicken area and I have to wonder, would this pretty chicken taste any better than..........
 This one?
And there's Joyce patting the bunnies.
The Fair was very small for a State Fair, we saw everything within a couple of hours.

Those fairs always remind me of my childhood. I just have a hard time digesting the food anymore:)
