Enjoying The Cool And Sunny Weather

 

Was a nice day to take a break from our daily routine and go for a ride. Headed for Merritt Island where there is a six mile dirt road that runs through the wetlands. If you want to view some beautiful birds, and very large Gators, this is the place to be.

Once we returned from our ride, we usually take Casey to an area at the far end of the resort where she can play ball and run freely. The area is a dry retention pond that has a lot of nice grass along the sides. Well, Casey loves to roll in the grass and found that if she starts at the top of the hill, she can roll all the way done. I was able to capture her doing a short roll.



Nice Day To Relax

Casey got a new bed....she now has one for the living room, one for the floor in the bedroom, and lets not forget up on our bed as her third. Man-o-man, did we ruin this dog!

 And then if I try to relax on the floor, guess who has to come over and sit ON me. I can't figure out why she does this!

Well we also took a ride with the coach to fill up with some cheap diesel while it last.

Fuel Prices

All I can say is WOW!!! We know this isn't going to last, and when it starts to climb...it's going to climb fast.
It's just too bad we weren't traveling now and able to take advantage of the low prices. 

Oh well, it is what it is and we can only hope!

Playing Catch-up

 

We had our two daughters, four of our granddaughters, one son-in-law, here for the Christmas holiday.

While they were here, they had to do Disney and Universal. The guy in the center front row is our family friend Sam. He had never been to Disney so this was an awakening especially when he had to pay $10 for a hot dog, fries, and a drink. It rained all day and the crowds were heavy but we all had a great time....yea, even me!

Before the family packed up to fly home, (they drove down in a rental van) we had to get a group shot. Until next year....
