Campground 10th Anniversary

The Resort had it's tenth anniversary

They had some pic's of the land prior to breaking ground, and during construction.

They also had door prizes but we didn't win anything....bummer!

There were over two hundred that attended the dinner.

There was so much food....everyone brought a side dish and the resort supplied chicken, pork, and spiral ham. Oh yea, there was also cake! Everyone had a great time and it all ended with a group picture.

Titusville Air Show

We had an air show in the area so we had to check it out.....I love those war birds.

A beautiful P-51 Mustang. This guy was giving 30 minute rides for $1995.00. That's correct just under two grand for 30 minutes, he must be nuts!

The plane is still one of my favorites.

They even had some WWI planes like this beauty, the problem is that they didn't always have any discriptions of what they were.

I did get a kick out of this warning label.....oops!

Motorcycle Parade

The campground had a motorcycle parade and lunch to support the local SPCA.

Casey heard the motorcycles coming and wanted to get a good view.

BMW

GoldwingThis is a BMW 1300 that was custom built by the owner. The wheels on the bike are from a Mini Cooper. Due to the width of the wheels, the front fork had to be widened. The sidecar was also hand built by the owner.

Central Florida Zoo

On the road into the zoo they have an area for Laser TagA large area that's fully set up for Laser TagThey also have a zip line at the zoo.Some info on the Florida rail systemThe Shriners even had a bus parked at the zoo.Tough to read but if you click on it you can read about..............The train!Really nice train.They also have a great display of spiders........Giant Grasshoppers........And a huge display of moths and butterflies.Nope, we didn't get to see the animals in the zoo.
