Joyce & Lucy took the day to go exploring the island while Don & I took the day to watch the dogs.....yea!
Some of the old Inns were just beautiful and in pristine condition.
This Light House was located in the channel between two islands.

nd island is in the background.
Lilac Tree Hotel....WOW!
I wonder how much for a nights stay?
There are no motor vehicles on the island other than
emergency vehicles, so even UPS has to make their deliveries by wagon.
People are shuttled in carriages
A ride around the island
Even the wedding party was moved by buggy or bicycle.
The town has a display of some of the old modes of transportation.
Even the final ride.
Neat sled!
Volunteer fire department????

And some beautiful beaches where you can stroll with your sweetheart.
And then there's the Bus?
Oh, and I forgot to mention that there are over ten stores that specialize in fudge...yum!
