Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Sites in Louisiana

We are now located at the Bayou Segnette State Park in Louisiana, this park accepts the federal senior pass so we were able to stay here for a helf price of $9.00 per night. The park sites have water and electric as well as WIFI. We will be here for 6 days.Yesterday I was not able to post because we got in late so I am trying to catch up.We took a trip to see some of the sugar cane Plantations of the South, the one in particular that we decided to tour was the Laura Plantation. The Laura Plantation was owned and operated by a Creole woman named Laura Locoul Gore, it was very common for women to own and run plantations in 18th century Louisiana.
