Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Moved to Mexico Beach on the Panhandle

We packed up this morning and prepared to head to Mexico Beach. Was surprised to find that the gas prices went from $3.19, too $3.29. This is unbelievable, must be because we're retired.
We are now in a small campground at Mexico Beach. There were some beautiful summer homes alone the coast. We were somewhat surprised to find that 98% of them are for sale.

Took a ride to Port Charlotte yesterday to visit Joyce's aunt Gertrude who is 95 years young. We had a great visit and aunt Gertrude is a very proper lady who has a very keen sense of things for someone of her age.

Aunt Gertrude lives in a very large complex for people 55 and over. A good deal of the residents are in there 90's with one that is 110.

Mac came with us and was very popular with the elderly residents. He was able to score a blueberry muffin, and a chocolate chip cookie, the ladies loved him. Because it took us over three hours to drive down to visit, we were only able to stay a couple of hours.
