Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:

Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

One More Day

Route 95 and still on our way home. If you have ever travel this stretch of highway, I'm sure that you have heard of South Of The Border. These billboards are located every couple of miles along the highway in South Carolina.
Casey kept asking Joyce if we were there yet:)

Just a few more billboards!

And there it is but so much bigger than it was the last time we stopped about 30 years ago.

The place is huge!

Big tourist trap.

There's a hotel and a campground

Plus fireworks.

And more fireworks.

Food, ice cream, etc.

T shirts and trinkets.

That's the hotel across the street.

Says it all.

As we moved on down the highway, it seemed that everyone was selling fiberglass pools.

The Virginia border.....we're getting there!

Tobacco feeds!

NASCAR trucks heading for the next race.

Richmond city limits!

Then, 500 miles later. Our Night stop!

we should be passing by South of the Border this Sunday on our way to Mt. Airy NC. Looking to gas up our RV there. Been passed there so many times travleing I-95 but never stopped. Hope there is a good place with easy access to pull the RV in and out.

Don't worry about parking this time of the year, there were only a few cars around and you'll have the whole place to yourself.
