Now this is a flowered sculpture of a chicken outside of the restaurant and Joyce had no idea of what I was up to when I told her to stick her hand into the flowers. I paid the price later!
As you can see the town has German architecture everywhere.
Joyce and I were married on May Day so it seemed appropriate to take this shot of the kids running around the May Pole.
The town is a definite tourist trap, but very nicely down with a German flair. If your in the area you must stop in.
Some history on the town of Frankenmuth, Mi.
The old school days in Frankenmuth, Mi.
There are three Fudge shops in town, I picked this one. The fudge is good but still not as good as the fudge we get at a fudge store in Cape Cod.
We are in another Walmart, we tried for a private campground but it was in bad shape and the electrical hookups were full of spider webs. I didn't want to take a chance of burning something out due to a bad hookup. We then tried for the State Park in Tawas, but they were full. So we backtracked 3.4 miles and are now in the Tawas Walmart with a view of the water.
