On our way to Big Bend, we had to stop for lunch in the town of Marathon. The Gage Hotel is in the center of town and it's the only game in town if you're looking for a nice place to stay. They also have a small campground. The place is beautifully restored right down to the window screens which are copper or brass.
NOW THAT WE'VE REACHED RETIREMENT, WE'RE OFF TO START THE NEXT ADVENTURE IN OUR LIVES. COME ALONG AND SEE WHERE WE'VE BEEN!
Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

As we were getting ready to break camp in Langtry, these guys stopped to say goodbye.
These are the rooms in the motel section of the Gage Hotel.
