We are about one hour away from our destination, Corpus Christi. It was lunchtime so we pull into the highschool parking lot in a small town that had a "Whataburger" right across the street. We never ate there so we had to try it out.
Mmmm WHATABURGER, they were good!
We made it to Corpus Christi and we are parked at Puerto Del Sol Campground. This campground had received high ratings but we found the place to be a lot less than what we expected. Hurricane Ike trashed the place and they still haven't cleaned it up. As you can see below, we do have a nice site right on the water. It's 4:30 PM and it's 70 degrees but the wind is blowing in from the Gulf and it's cool and damp. The sky is clear and it is suppose to warm up more tomorrow.Joyce took this picture from the front seat of the Coach at our site.
