The kids did see their first Palm trees as we crossed into South Carolina. Tomorrow we should make it to our campground in Florida if the traffic allows.
NOW THAT WE'VE REACHED RETIREMENT, WE'RE OFF TO START THE NEXT ADVENTURE IN OUR LIVES. COME ALONG AND SEE WHERE WE'VE BEEN!
Quoted From A Fellow Traveler:
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

On Our Way
This our street the day after the storm. We just left the house and it's 8:30 AM.
Boy, am I glad that we are out of here!
Day one was a ten hour drive that included two big traffic jambs that ate up the clock. But as you can see, Jess had a good time the first day.
We finally made it to Hagerstown and our first Walmart camp. This is Jess and Zach. I took this pic just before we started out on our 2nd day.

Your missing all the good scenery kids!!! Have fun...miss you!
Leaving all that snow behind must be a good feeling. safe travels.
Your timing is great. It will be 75' by the time you get to the Florida boarder. Wave at Callahan, Florida as you scurry by. The forecast is great for Disney. Beth and our daughter Shelly went to the Harry Potter park at Universal they said it was really good. Keep truckin'.
