I am trying a new larger format for my pictures, I hope they don't take too long to load for you.
After three days, we have moved to here. Same park, different section which put us right on the lake.
We are now six miles out of Cody. We are close to town but far enough away to enjoy the solitude. Our Neighbors are from France and are here with their two teenage children for a twenty day holiday. The fly into Chicago and will depart from San Fransisco. Now that we have moved to our camp on the lake, Casey can do her thing.
Our site.
A view from my chair, who's that in the water???

We had to take a look around Cody, this is the famous Irma Hotel that was built by Bill Cody.
Side street entrance to the hotel.
These bikes are registered with New Zealand plates, wow what a trip. I was hoping to talk to the riders but they weren't around.
Inside the hotel, I tried to get some pictures of the original interior.
The bar.
Dinning room.
On the other side of the street is the old movie house.
We also stopped at the Bill Cody Historical Center

Now this place is HUGE and there was no way that I could even come close to posting all the pic's I took so here are a few.

Some things of interest. A Dud Ranch!

Bill Pickett, I remember hearing of him when I was a kid.

What is a Cowboy?
Cody the actor.
And they had to find his home and get it here.
Being delivered......wrong address?
They can't make up their minds on where to put the home.
Hmmmm, lets move it again!
Looks good here!
There is also a section in the Cody Center which is dedicated to Firearms. They had so many hand guns, rifles, and bullets, that I thought it was total overkill.
And it goes on and on.
There were some interesting firearms like this one.
