The further we traveled on route 90 along the coast, the weather began to clear. If you are ever in the Biloxi area, I highly recommend a ride along route 90. It runs for miles along the coast and you are right along the oceans edge. The homes that survived Katrina are truly beautiful.
The sky opened up and it began to warm up to over 70 degrees.
We only had about a two hour ride so we took our time get to Louisiana.
We are here at Bayou Segnette State Park. This park is really nice and close to a lot of things yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city plus we got the site for half price because they accept the Fed Senior Card.
