We visited the new Narrows bridge at the Penobscot River.
And we took the elevator to the observatory at the top of one of the towers.
We are back home now and the lawn needs mowing bad. You just can't get away from the chores.
Nice View
A little info. on the construction of the new bridge.
The old and the new!
The old bridge must come down but will probably take another five years due to a lack of money to complete the demolition.
We took a ride to Bar Harbor and on the way was a small pond full of Lily Pads in bloom.
More Lily Pads but of a different color.
The fog began to roll in while we were cruising the coastline.
At the top of Mt. Cadillac we stopped to pick some wild blueberries. Joyce used them in her pancakes the next morning.
While in the town of Bar Harbor we spotted this in the Harbor. This is the Lady Christine. I was able to find some info. on her and her owner Irvine Laidlaw. Her helicopter had a small mishap and was being repaired due to a minor crash while landing short of the shore.
